CNN host Don Lemon allegedly tipped off Jussie Smollett that cops didn’t buy his race-hate attack claims - but held back his involvement despite claiming to bring the latest on the case on air. (NYPost)

Outraged reaction likened his lack of disclosure to former colleague Chris Cuomo’s cover-up of sexual misconduct of his disgraced brother, former NYC Governor Andrew, and called for CNN to cancel his contract.

Lemon later claimed he was in fact a victim if Smollett is guilty. He “lied to a lot of people … including me. He squandered the good will of very high-profile people who one day may be running this country like Kamala Harris and Cory Booker and people like President Trump.”
