A new feature built into the latest Snapdragon processor could have a function which keeps front-facing cameras on ALL THE TIME in low-power mode. (WaPo)

Qualcomm, the company that manufactures Snapdragon, says the move aims to make smartphones more convenient and secure.

The phone allegedly can hide notifications when somebody is standing next to you, and will come in handy if it’s ever stolen. “Your phone’s front camera is always securely looking for your face, even if you don’t touch it.” Qualcomm’s VP said.

Not so handy if you don't like being stalked...
