A sustained ransomware attack from Chinese hackers reportedly came within 30 minutes of shutting up to 3mn Australians off from power on Nov. 27. (Daily Mail)
IT security specialists managed to separate CS Energy’s corporate and operational systems to protect the generators as the company’s thermal coal plants in Queensland.
Relations between Canberra and Beijing have been strained since Chinese telecoms giant Huawei was banned from Australia’s 5G infrastructure, and Xi Jinping’s subsequent bans and tariffs on Australian exports.

Progressive Term “Latinx” Flops With Latinos

To make language more gender-neutral, progressives are using “Latinx” to replace the masculine & feminine “Latino” or “Latina.” But it turns out, ironically, that Latinos themselves largely reject the term.
A new Politico poll spoke to 800 Hispanic voters and found only 2% describe themselves as “Latinx.” The terms Hispanic and Latino vastly more popular, with 68% & 21% of respondents identifying as such respectively. And although ”Latinx” was more common among those aged 18-29, still a mere 4% of voters chose it.
More concerning for Democrats and progressives is a whopping 40% admitted “Latinx” actually bothered or offended them. 49% said there'd be no difference in their support for a politician/party, while 30% would be less likely to support them, compared to only 15% more likely to give their support.
Like many other progressive endeavors, support among online activists doesn't necessarily translate to support among voters.

If you have a loved one in the hospital and they are refusing Ivermectin it is imperative you fight like heck. Threaten to sue them and give them all of this:
Here is the NIH webpage showing that ivermectin is in the same class as remdesivir Antiviral Agents That Are Approved or Under Evaluation for the Treatment of COVID-19. The CMS page several paragraphs down first sentence under NCTAP shows hospitals are paid a 20% bonus for choosing remdesivir over other treatments. Show them these two documents and threaten to sue for being bribed to use remdesivir instead of approved ivermectin. Everyone needs to threaten the doctors and the hospitals to sue for mistreating their loved ones. AFLDS attorney Tom Renz tells us that these cases are winnable and the standard of care defense will not hold up under current circumstances. Also 95% of malpractice suits settle before ever going to trial. Please share this information.

EU to Punish Poland: Brussels may withhold pandemic aid payments
Warsaw’s request for $40.4 billion from the EU’s recovery fund has been blocked due to a dispute over the country’s judicial revamp. (Bloomberg)
Poland’s top court ruled that some of the EU’s laws are incompatible with its constitution, a ruling that has enraged lawmakers in Brussels.
Europe’s Commission President laid out conditions Poland will have to meet to receive emergency funding. Reinstating dismissed judges, dismantling the mechanism for punishing judges and changes to the disciplinary regime are among some of the conditions.

European Gas Prices Surge after Giant Field in Norway Suffers Unexpected Outage (Bloomberg report)
European natural gas prices extended gains as one of the region’s biggest fields curbed output because of a fault. Shipments from Norway are expected to slump by nearly 13% Wednesday after the Troll field reportedly suffered an unplanned outage.
Dutch front-month gas, the European benchmark, rose as much as 9.6% on the back of the news with traders seemingly already worried about winter supplies from top provider Russia.
Tensions have been raised over Russia's Nord Stream 2 project supplying gas to Europe – with renewed threats of potential sanctions hanging over the pipeline from the United States.
