EU’s top drug regulator recommends “mixing and matching” vaccines
The European Medicines Agency has said it’s safe and effective to receive different Covid shots produced by separate companies. (UPI)
Combining, for example vectored vaccines (like Johnson & Johnson) with mRNA ones (Pfizer) can produce “good levels of antibodies” the agency has claimed.
The EMA noted its studies only covered vaccines for primary inoculation and then the booster.

China Property Sector Woes: Evergrande Shares Plummet to Record Low – Kaisa Shares Suspended
Chinese property giant Evergrande has lurched into dangerous territory as shares plummeted to record lows after the 30-day grace period on a $82.5mn interest payment expired with no confirmation from the company.
Evergrande shares dropped 6% on Tuesday to below their 2009 market debut, taking the drop this month alone over 20%.
Meanwhile, Kasia - China’s largest offshore debt holder after Evergrande – shares were suspended Wednesday by the HK stock exchange pending an announcement.
According to Reuters, the embattled developer missed a $400mn Tuesday repayment deadline - the offshore debt could trigger cross defaults totalling nearly $12bn.

Elon Musk claims his Neuralink brain implant device will be set for testing in humans next year pending FDA approval - but insists their own safety standards are “substantially higher” than the federal agency.
This is the third time Musk has given a different target timeframe to deliver Neuralink. People with severe spinal injuries will be among the first to be involved.
“Progress will accelerate when we have devices in humans (hard to have nuanced conversations with monkeys) next year,” he tweeted.

According to mapping data it's close to its full capacity of 20k containers, and is scheduled to arrive 12 December.
The 400m-vessel reportedly hasn’t suffered any mishaps since setting off - after undergoing repairs in late November.
