Who you gonna call: Android Microsoft Teams Bug prevents users dialing 911
A Pixel owner first reported the issue on Reddit, saying they were unable to call the emergency services number due to a bug involving Microsoft Teams, which Google has confirmed.
"We determined that the issue was being caused by unintended interaction between the Microsoft Teams app and the underlying Android operating system,” a Google statement read.
The tech giants say they are working to resolve the issue ASAP.

DeSantis Mulls Crypto Tax Payments for Florida
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is considering allowing businesses in the state to pay taxes in cryptocurrency, and has already allocated $200k in the state budget to facilitate the system.
DeSantis also has plans to use blockchain technology for Medicaid payments and vehicle registration.
Earlier this year Miami hosted a major bitcoin convention as well as hosting the new HQ of trading platform blockchain.com.

Turkish Lira Slide Triggers Central Bank Intervention - Nears 14 per Dollar (Bloomberg)
Turkey’s central bank sold foreign exchange for the third time this month - hoping to arrest the lira’s slide, as the currency weakened by as much as 1.2% to 13.9548 Friday.
The monetary authority said it intervened in the market because of “unhealthy” price formations, echoing language used by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to describe a renewed selloff in the currency.
The Turkish lira has plummeted 38% since the central bank started cutting borrowing rates in late September, acting upon Erdogan’s persistent demand for lower rates.
