Flash flooding kills one as Storm Barra batters Spain
At least one person has been killed as severe flooding from Storm Barra submerged cars and houses in Spain’s Navarre region on Friday.
The regional govt. has declared a level two flood emergency and warned that similar conditions should be expected Saturday.
According to the authorities, Storm Barra brought torrential downpours which thawed snow and ice causing rivers to rise rapidly.

Google warning over location-sharing apps - Ask Jeeves (search) definition of hypocrisy?
The tech giant has told developers they need to be upfront with users regarding information shared with “Huq,” a British firm which sells location data. (BBC)
Huq admitted that at least two apps shared users’ information with the firm without properly seeking permission first, prompting an investigation.
"As part of our investigation, we have sent a warning to all app developers that we determined were in violation of Google Play policies,” Google said.

The prosecution’s case has rested in 10 days, at least a week shorter than expected. Considering there are at least over a hundred victims of Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell, possibly hundreds, it’s beyond disappointing the government only called on a small handful of victims to testify in court.
