JUST IN - Marco Buschman (FDP), the German Justice Minister, wants to take action against the messenger service Telegram as it is used to oppose Covid measures.

"What is spread on Telegram is disgusting, indecent, and criminal," claims the new German Justice Minister.

Recently, the autocratic Lukashenko regime in Belarus made it criminal to subscribe to unwanted channels on the service.

Dozens of truck drivers blocked Dublin Port on Monday in protest of growing fuel costs, driver shortages, rising taxes and other operating costs.

Tensions at the port were evident as one of the truckers was pulled away from a truck by law enforcement.

Up to 40 vehicles are believed to have taken part in the protest, according to authorities. Large traffic jams were reported in the port area as a result.

The platform has updated its “misleading information policy” to impose new sanctions on vaccine 'misinformation', including claims that they “will cause you to be sick, spread the virus, or would be more harmful than getting Covid-19.”

The new policy would hypothetically put the company at odds even with the CDC, whose website states “vaccinated people can still become infected and have the potential to spread the virus to others.”

Twitter added accounts can be permanently suspended for Covid misinformation, even if they don’t have strikes against them.

European Gas Prices Jump as Supply Crunch Risks Extending to NEXT Winter (Bloomberg)

European gas prices surged as much as 5.9% Tuesday after closing at a record level on Monday - with tensions between Russia and Ukraine threatening to extend this year’s crunch into next winter.

Europe was already facing an energy supply shortage before geopolitical tensions flared up, a move that could further delay the start of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

Benchmark European gas prices traded in the Netherlands jumped to €122.92 a megawatt-hour, the highest since early October, when prices ballooned as much as 40% in just one day.

Prince Andrew Argues NY Child Victim Law is Unconstitutional (reports)

Prince Andrew has attacked a New York law that allows child sex abuse victims more time to sue, arguing his accuser Virginia Giuffre shouldn’t be allowed to use it against him, claiming it is unconstitutional, according to a court filing released Monday. (Bloomberg)

Giuffre filed her case in August, 5 days before the law which allowed underage abuse victims until they turn 55 to sue as opposed to the standard statute of limitations of 1 to 5 years.

Andrew also insists the law is vague since it allowed those who were under 18 years of age at the time of the alleged assault to exploit the different law, even though the age of consent is 17.
