China Fires Up “Artificial Sun” AGAIN
Scientists at the Hefei Institute of Physical Science have kicked off the latest round of nuclear fusion experiments to make the advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST) hotter and more durable.
The reactor has already set several records for hot plasma, reaching 160MN degrees Celsius in June - 10 times hotter than the sun. It will form part of the world’s largest nuclear fusion reactor in 2035.

Covid Vaccine Booster Programs ‘Likely to PROLONG the Pandemic’ – WHO Chief Warns
The head of the World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned that "blanket" COVID-19 vaccine booster programmes were "likely to prolong the pandemic.”
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said diverting vaccine supply away from countries yet to administer single doses was deepening the global inequity in access to jabs and thereby prolonging the pandemic.
That will only give the virus "more opportunity to spread and mutate" Tedros said Wednesday. The WHO chief adding, "No country can boost its way out of the pandemic."

Interstate 94 in the US has been shut down after a huge crash that's reportedly involved around 100 cars - some of which went up in flames.
According to the local emergency center, the roads in the area were “ice covered and slippery,” which might have been the cause of the incident.
