CNN producer denies child sex-trafficking charges

CNN producer John Griffin has pleaded not guilty to charges of underage sex trafficking, despite attorney Michael Drescher warning he posed too much of a danger to be released.

Drescher claimed Griffin had “dishonestly tried to talk his way out of being held accountable” and had “tried to buy his way out of trouble”, in reference to allegations he paid off witnesses.

Griffin stands accused of grooming girls as young as nine to be “sexually submissive”, often with their parents’ cooperation and even participation. He faces between 10 years to life in prison if convicted.
