Citibank "No Jab, No Job" Mandate Deadline Rapidly Approaching

Citibank looks set to fire around 700 employees at the end of January as their strict vaccine mandate deadline approaches on Jan 14,after which those who resist will be placed on unpaid leave before losing their jobs a fortnight later.

Some will still be able to receive end of year bonuses if among this number, but only if they sign commitments to not pursue legal action against the company.

Citibank was the first major Wall Street bank to impose a strict vaccine mandate, and claims 90% of its workforce has complied, but there has been visible resistance from others across social media.
