Chinese meat processor Yurun Group declares bankruptcy

The Yurun Group, one of China's two largest pig processing companies, has filed for bankruptcy, with reorganization work underway.

It has been reported that 122 enterprises of Yurun Group are owing more than 100 billion yuan in debts, and the pork empire, once worth billions of yuan (US$15 billion), is now gone.
