Research published in Nature Microbiology has identified almost 50,000 species of virus living in the human intestinal system - that were previously UNKNOWN to science.
Though we tend to think of viruses as harmful - especially now - these viruses "eat" bacteria and can't attack human cells. Humans apparently have a VAST number of microscopic parasites in our bodies that target microbes that live there.
Now that's some interesting s***!
