Luxembourg PM HOSPITALIZED with Covid-19

PM Xavier Bettel is in a “SERIOUS BUT STABLE” condition with the virus – a govt minister announced. Adding, he will remain in hospital for up to 4 more days. (AP)

Bettel has been under medical observation since Sunday, after being diagnosed with INSUFFICIENT oxygen saturation as well as other symptoms - including coughing, headaches, and a fever.

He tested positive for Covid last week – just 2 days after attending the European Council Summit with 26 other EU leaders.

He was set to receive his SECOND dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine on July 1st.
