Today's first decision involves a dispute over Medicare payments for hospitals. SCOTUS sides with the Department of Health & Human Services and rejects a lawsuit from safety-net hospitals that challenged a provision of the department's complex Medicare reimbursement formula.
Here is the opinion from Elena Kagan in Becerra v. Empire Health Foundation: https://supremecourt.gov/opinions/21pdf/20-1312_j42l.pdf…. The vote is 5-4, with Kavanaugh (joined by Roberts, Alito, & Gorsuch) dissenting.
