Insider Trading? Texas Congressman DUMPS Microsoft stock before MASSIVE Pentagon contract cancellation.
Rep. Pat Fallon, who sits on a key subcommittee overseeing the Department of Defense's technology policy, sold between $100k-$250k worth of Microsoft shares just TWO WEEKS before the Pentagon made the surprise announcement that it would CANCEL the $10bn JEDI contract it had awarded the company in 2019.
This is not the first time Fallon's stock trades were called into question. He potentially violated federal ethics laws by failing to disclose up to $17 million in stock trades within 30 days of making them. (Business Insider reports)
"This is a classic example of why members of Congress should not be actively trading in the stock market while they sit in office,"said Public Citizen ethics lobbyist Craig Holman.
