Dmitry Rogozin, the loudmouthed head of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, has been ordered to step down by President Vladimir Putin.

No reason was given, but Russia and the U.S. are about to ink an agreement that would resume integrated launch operations, and Rogozin’s history of sneering and insulting the American space program probably had something to do with it.

Dmitry Rogozin: Aliens Could Have Visited Earth, Russia Investigating UFOs

Dmitry Rogozin, the head of Roscosmos space agency, has said Russian officials are conducting studies into UFO reports.

The space agency chief said he was aware of UFO accounts provided by pilots and that these reports often came back after test flights.

Rogozin said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 news channel that 99.9 percent of all reports were later identified as "atmospheric and other physical phenomena" but also considered that "we might be a subject to some external observation."
