Look at the "paint." Does that not look like some kind of tarp drawn tight against a frame?

In Search and Rescue, we were taught the rule of 3s for prioritizing survival:

3 minutes without air, pretty self explanatory.

3 hours without shelter. Environment dependant, but this includes clothing, actual shelter, tent, etc. Anything to shelter you from the elements or survive in that environment. A fire falls into this, but not priority unless very cold.

3 days without water. People focus on food, but that comes next. You need water first. I recommend a quality portable filter as opposed to large quantities of storage. This is dependant on exertion and environment of course.

3 weeks without food. You'll have hunger pains, but your body quickly opens up the reserves. Realistically, most people could survive 3 weeks without eating anything unless there are underline medical conditions like diabetes.

And my favorite, 3 months without hope. People who are hopeless begin to become accustomed to it after 3 months and just give up. It's psychology. Think about how long it takes a new dog to get accustomed to their environment, about 3 months.

Hope this gets the wheels turning a bit. I'll be focusing more on specific preps hopefully over the weekend.
