On August 13, it was reported that the CDC deleted statement that "mRNA and spike protein do not last long in the body" from website.

There was still a link to a third-party website about the topic at the bottom of the page.

When you clicked on the link, a popup said, "CDC cannot attest to the accuracy of a non-federal website."

TODAY - On the page CDC still says that "after protein piece is made, our cells break down mRNA and remove it, leaving the body as waste." Besides link to third-party website, it is no longer specified how long this "break down" process takes. @disclosetv
