Hungary RESTRICTING sale of LGBT-themed kids’ books, Reuters reports.

A new law in Hungary will have books seen as promoting homosexuality sold in “closed wrapping,” stepping up restrictions on LGBT-themed materials which have put PM Viktor Orban on course for collision with human rights groups and the EU.

Books promoting gender change and containing ‘explicit’ depictions of sexuality will now not be able to be sold 200 meters (656 feet), from schools and churches as well.

Some rights groups say the law wrongly conflates pedophilia and porn with LGBT issues, with Ursula von der Leyen, head of the EU's executive Commission calling It a ‘disgrace.’

The European Commission launched legal action against Orban's government over the legislation, calling it discriminatory and contravening European values.
