When I used to work for a telecom (many years ago), we had to occasionally use a power adapter to enable internet in some older homes that hindered wireless transmission. It was then that I learned how that worked, and that things like atomic clocks (discontinued a few years ago) would have their time sent to them over the powerline (from power company) when adjusted. Imagine if every "smart" device has a backdoor accessible via power port. Ever wonder how/why we both charge and send data over USB connections? Even if you have no "service" in an emergency, the government actually does have a way to provide one if the power is on. Just some food for thought. Have an awesome day!
