Millions of CHILDREN are vulnerable to abuse in RELIGIOUS GROUPS in England & Wales, report says
Child SEX ABUSE has been found to be PREVALENT in institutions across major UK religions, according to a report by the Independent into Child Sex Abuse (ICSA).
Between early 2015 and January 2020, of all known institutions where abuse had taken place, 11% (443 instances) were committed within a religious organization or setting. However, there is likely to be “significant” under-reporting the ICSA said, adding: “there is no way of knowing the true scale.”
The ICSA report stated some religious groups in England and Wales were “morally failing” children – with church leaders reportedly discouraged from disclosing abuse to purportedly protect reputations.

An airplane headed toward North Carolina’s Outer Banks crashed into a Connecticut building Thursday morning.
The Cessna Citation 560X business jet — which had four people on board — crashed into the building in Farmington around 10 a.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
It had left from Robertson Field Airport in Plainville, Connecticut, and was headed to Dare County Regional Airport in Manteo, North Carolina, the FAA said.
The FAA did not comment on the condition of those on board the plane or what led to the crash.
It said it will investigate the crash along with the National Transportation Safety Board.

Ivorian TV host sentenced for PROMOTING RAPE live
Yves de M’Bella has been handed a 12-month suspended sentence and fined $3,600 for inviting an alleged former rapist, Kader Traore, to demonstrate how he had raped women.
M’Bella - who had been set to host Miss Ivory Coast on Saturday - reportedly laughed and joked as he helped Traore lay a mannequin on the floor and re-enact his assaults, leading to 50,000 people signing a petition for his dismissal.
Traore has been jailed for two years and fined $900.
