US Cardinal Denies Sexually Assaulting Boy at Wedding

Former Catholic Cardinal Theodore McCarrick has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy during a wedding reception in Massachusetts - almost 50 years ago!

McCarrick faces three counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, according to court documents.

Pope Francis expelled McCarrick from the Church in 2019 after an internal investigation determined he sexually abused children and also adults.
