No More Normal Chit-Chat!? Watchdog Warning Over UK's Plan to Sensor Conversation Online (Report)
A report by Big Brother Watch has slammed a proposed law aimed at battling online abuse... warning it could end ban normal conversation online.
“Compared to any other law in the United Kingdom, the Online Security Act will only make the situation worse and pose a greater threat to freedom of speech in the UK,” says Mark Johnson of Big Brother Watch.
The draft bill aims to protect adults and children from ‘harms’ - but it's been dubbed the most ambitious attempt to regulate the internet in the free world.

Flash floods Mexico – at least 2 DEAD (Report)
Heavy rainfall triggered flash floods in the municipality of Ecatepec in Mexico on Monday. (Floodlist)
Two people have died, and multiple vehicles swept away, dramatic footage showing a ferocious mixture of mud and water dragging vehicles and debris through submerged streets – with Ecatepec’s mayor reporting 19 neighborhoods were flooded in the deluge.
