Brazil’s MASSIVE Independence Day PROTESTS – in support of embattled President Bolsonaro

Supporters of Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro are marching en masse across the country on national day – as prominent left-wing figures claim he is planning a “coup” ahead of next year’s election.

Bolsonaro is expected to speak in the capital Brasilia before moving onto Sao Paolo to address his supporters in a downtown location – hoping the rallies will help him garner support after recent polls had him losing to former president Lula.

Security has been ramped up and footage shows thousands of people at the rally in Brasilia – with counter demonstrations also expected.

SPYWARE SCANDAL: German Federal Police (BKA) secretly bought ‘Pegasus’ surveillance software from NSO (Report)

Germany’s BKA has reportedly bought a modified version of the Pegasus espionage software from the NSO group last year – with a report by German media outlets informing the Interior Committee of the Bundestag expected on Tuesday.

According to the report, the BKA started a procurement process for the espionage software back in 2019 – acquiring a slimmed down version of Pegasus which can still allegedly monitor beyond the remit of German laws.

In mid-July, an international consortium of journalists reported on traces of Pegasus being used on 50,000 people including politicians, journalists, human rights activists and businesspeople – NSO continuing to assert the software was only permitted to monitor terrorists and criminals.

It is not known whether Pegasus has already been used in Germany.
