Maui Police Shut Down Placards Program Hours After Launching by “Powers that Be”
Maui Police:
“I’ve just been informed that we are shutting down this placard distribution as of now
There are powers that be… I’m not sure the reasoning. Alls I know is that the order has come down to shut down the distribution of these placards”
The placard program was designed to speed up access into West Maui, as well as provide access to critical donations to survivors.
This is the second failed attempt to get critical donations to survivors.
