“Evergrande circling the plughole” - Chinese property titans set to DEAFULT!

Chinese property empire Evergrande looks set to default, with a restrustuce predicted that would see the majority of its $300bn debt soaked up by investors who will get 25% back.

“Evergrande is deemed as a systematic risk to the Chinese financial system: the authorities cannot afford to let it fail abruptly. We believe Evergrande is likely to collapse in a controlled manner,” said Ben Wang, of Jamieson Coote Bonds.

Estimates claim that some 1.4mn properties the company has committed to building are in danger, as shares dropped 6% on Monday alone to below the initial float price.

BRUTAL attack on Sydney police woman enforcing lockdown restrictions

An Australian man has been filmed viciously attacking a police officer who had asked him to move along, before he attacked her female colleague and later ANOTHER officer at a ploice station.

The suspect repeatedly kicked and punched his victims, causing all three to go to hospital for treatment.

Sydney is in its 12th week of lockdown after New South Wales premier Gladys Berejiklian admitted her “zero Covid” policy aimed at eradicated all cases had failed.

Black African Defense League to be DISSOLVED by French Interior Minister

Following alleged violence between members of the Black African Defense League (LDNA) in the French town of Val-de-Reuil, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin announced proceedings to dissolve the group.

“The speeches of this racist structure call for hatred and discrimination,” he tweeted. “It’s actions cause disturbances to public order.”

The LDNA - which has 300k followers on Facebook, and is led by a self-styled “political activist, Pan-African resistance fighter, freedom fighter, revolutionary” - deny any of its supporters were involved in violence against the town’s citizens, and now has 15 days to respond.
