On April 24, 2019, Donald Trump issued EO 13869: Transferring Responsibility for Background Investigations to the Department of Defense

There is a ton of technical Jargon here but at the most basic level, this EO provides amendments for the June 30, 2008 EO 13467: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2008/07/02/08-1409/reforming-processes-related-to-suitability-for-government-employment-fitness-for-contractor
EO 13467 established a Suitability and Security Clearance Performance Accountability Council and enlisted the Office of Management and Budget with assistance from the Director of National Intelligence to head up background checks for the federal government and those with access to classified information.
Trumps EO 13869 transferred that to the Department of Defense (THE MILITARY).

Anyone wonder why they’re rushing the flu shots out for kids NOW in September, well before winter and the usual time? A friend told me of a warning that came out of a hospital in the US saying that the kids this winter will suffer from a floppy myelitis which looks like polio but is actually guilliane Barr syndrome.. and the person warning said don’t let your kids take the flu shot 😳
