Evergrande’s Woes Sends Hong Kong Stock Property Index SPIRALLING – Hitting MULTIYEAR Lows (Report)

A selloff in Chinese property stocks intensified Thursday, punters reportedly fearful of an official campaign to rein in a sector already in turmoil - after it was discovered property giant, China Evergrande Group, is drowning in debt. (WSJ)

The Lippo Select HK & Mainland Property Index dropped 4.9% on Thursday, closing at its lowest level in 4 years and a whopping fall of 23% in 2021. Beijing’s refusal - so far - of offering help to Evergrande apparently exacerbating selloffs.

China Evergrande Group admitted Tuesday it is under “tremendous pressure” and may not be able to meet crippling debt obligations – some 1.5mn people have put deposits on new homes with them, that are yet to be built.

Hackers steal 1.4MN people’s Covid test data from Paris hospitals

The Paris Public Hospital System (AP-HP) has today admitted that personal data of around 1.4mn Covid-tested people was STOLEN by hackers in the middle of 2020.

The data included social security numbers, contact information and results, but AP-HP insists that is the extent of the data breach as it is a separate system to the overall medical database.

Earlier this month there was a hack on a monitoring and prevention platform set up for pharmacists as data for 700k people was stolen.

"World Health Organization European Advisory Group of Experts in Immunization former Vice President Professor Christian Perronne yesterday said that all vaccinated people must quarantine over the winter months or risk serious illness.
Perronne specializes in tropical pathologies and emerging infectious diseases. He was Chairman of the Specialized Committee on Communicable Diseases of the High Council of Public Health.
Confirming the rapidly deteriorating situation in Israel and the UK, the infectious disease expert stated: “Vaccinated people should be put in quarantine, and should be isolated from the society.”
He went on to say: “Unvaccinated people are not dangerous; vaccinated people are dangerous for others. It’s proven in Israel now – I’m in contact with many physicians in Israel – they’re having big problems, severe cases in the hospitals are among vaccinated people, and in UK also, you have the larger vaccination program and also there are problems.”
The current working group on the COVID-19 pandemic in France was reported to be “utterly panicked” on receipt of the news, fearing pandemonium if it follows the guidance of the experts.
