Governor DeSantis now has the opportunity to do something really funny to the U.S. Senate
We should withhold Medicare and Medicaid dollars from any hospital that doesn’t provide decent nutrition, clean mineral water, and access to sunbathing.
I just learned that this week people are holding space with my posts and feeling power with them. I really don’t know what to say…I-I-I-…that’s what I hoped would happen
Interregnum: the time of maximum danger
Big Pharma/Ag/Chemical/et al are already putting plans into motion to deny confirmation for RFK Jr. They have their puppets like Pence and Haley hitting him with arguments like “being a Democrat” and being “insufficiently pro-life”. It’s all cynical, they believe nothing they say, but they’re rolling out a justification for senators like the newly elected Romney clone from Utah to offer up “principled conservative” excuses for voting against confirmation. It’s going to be a knife fight.
We have much to be thankful for, Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Good technologies are things that enable men to do cool stuff. Things like stirrups and fighter planes. Bad technologies are things that make men who do cool stuff obsolete. Things like barbed wire and drones.
Congratulations @DrJBhattacharya on your nomination as Director of the National Institutes of Health!
Kamala could retire her campaign debt and then some by starting a cooking show
Is he trying to get up though?
Listen to me in the future when I point out long before the primaries that a particular candidate has an electability problem. There was no excuse for losing this seat.
FEMA motel vouchers run out tomorrow. A lot of people are going to be thrown out in the cold. A shame and disgrace.
What is going on??
This is like Reparations Day but for White Boys
This is just disrespectful
One of the single biggest problems in delivering healthcare in this country is illegal immigrants going to the emergency room over the most mundane of sicknesses because by law an ER can’t refuse treatment and so it functions as de facto free healthcare.

Meanwhile people with serious emergency conditions often face 4+ hour wait times and many give up and go home. Far too many die as a result.
On top of the wait times/bed shortage, this dynamic burns many doctors and nurses out. So not only are patients dealing with the capacity problems, the quality of the care when they finally get it is often degraded.
USAID food assistance programs are sold as “feeding the starving kids” initiatives but in reality are huge giveaways to domestic Big Ag interests. Flooding underdeveloped nations with free food just puts their farmers out of business and is a major driver of emigration.
