👉🏻 Yesterday, on the 7th of March, Switzerland voted whether to ban or not ban the burqa (muslim dress that completely covers a woman's face), used in very hardline islamist countries.
✅ Overall the Yes on the ban won with 51.21% while No lost with 48.79%.
⛪️ Catholic majority and French areas influenced by secularism (laicité) voted yes, while the most liberal Protestant ones voted no.
