Hypnos was the Greek god of Sleep, a son of the goddess Nyx (Night) and the twin brother of Thanatos (Death). The winged god was a highly regarded deity, for he, brought some relief to troubled humans via dreams.

🏺 The Pella curse tablet is a text written in a distinct Doric Greek dialect, found in Pella, the ancient capital of Macedon, Greece. Ιt contains a curse (κατάδεσμος) dated to the first half of the 4th century BC.
