🔴 Erdogan considers picking Tansu Ciller, a former Turkish President as his government's next Foreign Minister as she is known for having good relations with the US, although she has a dark past with Greece, being behind the Imia crisis

🔸 Former Turkish Prime Minister Tansu Ciller appears as a possible successor to Mevlut Cavusoglu in a possible reshuffle. Although she is not the only one being considere, she is described as a favorite by various journalists, including the authoritative Rahim Turan. He cites Ciller's good relations with Washington, at a time when Erdogan is trying to melt the ice that has been created with newly elected President Joe Biden

🔴 Who is Tansu Ciller and what happened during the Imia crisis? (check previous post for context)

🔸 She was the first woman to become Prime Minister of Turkey. Born in Constantinople. She attended American universities and received her PhD from Yale in Economics. She got married and her husband took her last name. Upon her return to Turkey, she seemed to be winning her academic career working as a lecturer until 1990 when she was elected for the first time for the Turkish Parliament

🔸 From 1996 to 1997 she was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Her relationship with Mesut Yilmaz , the other leader of the secular center, was marked by a prolonged political vendetta. They were trying to get voters from the same ideological and political space of the center-right

‼️ She can be linked with the Imia crisis, as on June 8, 1995, the Turkish National Assembly authorized the government of the hardline Ciller to use all means, including the military, against Greece. She ostentatiously ignored the official notes of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that warned her about a possible escalation of the crisis

‼️ It was the first time that Turkey directly threatened Greece with war in the event that it exercised its right to extend its territorial waters to 12 miles. Ciller sent a small group of Turkish soldiers, with orders not to open fire first. Nevertheless, she appeared determined to push things to the limit, at a time when the military leadership was hesitant

‼️ As long as the now-famous Turkish operation lasted, the then prime minister had avoided answering President Clinton's constant phone calls . The United States was trying to prevent a war by acting as a mediator. She picked up the phone only when the crisis was over

🚨🇩🇪 Ciller's husband had been repeatedly accused of not only corruption but also having close ties to the parastate and organized crime. Ciller's name was also directly implicated in a drug trafficking case during a trial in Germany. In Frankfurt, a court ruling at the time argued that the Turkish drug mafia had a strong influence in Turkish government circles, which reached as far as then-Foreign Minister Ciller.

🔸 She was accused of widespread corruption during her term as Prime Minister. She was the only one who did not inform her successor about how the secret funds of the state were allocated. He was repeatedly questioned by the Turkish Parliament on these charges, but was eventually acquitted. It should be noted that Mesut Yilmaz has admitted that

‼️ After moving away from politics, she enjoys moments of calm, while visiting Greece every summer. It is not a few times that she is also in Thessaloniki, as it is the city where her parents were born and lived

🔴 Germany: New asylum housing in Berlin costs taxpayers thousands per square meter – more than most Germans earn in a month

🏢 At the moment, workers in Berlin are constructing some 50 modular accommodation for asylum seekers. So far, the construction project has swallowed up over €1 billion in taxpayer money.

💸 According to Berlin Senate, the cost to produce one square meter of the new migrant accommodations ranges between €1,600 and €2,600 – a cost regarded by Germany’s opposition as highly dubious and vastly inflated for simple prefabricated buildings

🏠 The official name of the housing development is “Modular Accommodation for Refugees”, or MUF for short. A total of 6,000 apartments are slated to be built, which in theory will initially be used to accommodate asylum seekers and immigrants before being later used as social housing

TIME TO END CIVIC NATIONALISM

Why only white countries have to embrace diversity ? Why should we care about the complains of strangers in our own lands ? Why should we let them decide for us ?

👷They didn't build our countries, we gave them the work they didn't have.

🏛 They are not part of our history, we let them participate to ours.

🙅🏼They are not an enrichment nor a chance for us, we let them thrive thanks to our system.

👳🏾‍♂️ We don't need them, they need us.

🕌 So called "minorities" have become more than a problem, they are a threat to our people and culture.

🌍 We don't owe them anything. We could just have erased them from the planet but we didn't.

👉🏻 They are alive because we decided to let them live. But now they are threatening our own lives and future.

Race first.

☀️ We are all we need ☀️

🏛 The Theatre of Dionysus on the south slope of the Acropolis of Athens was built in the 6th century BC. It is the oldest Greek theatre but was modified over the centuries. Hadrian added the monumental scaenae frons with reliefs depicting the life of Dionysus
