MIGRANT EXPULSION U-TURN? Germany and Netherlands HALT deportations to Afghanistan amid Taliban resurgence.
The two European nations have stopped forced repatriations of Afghan migrants to the country due to the deteriorating security situation amid the Taliban advance in the country.
Afghanistan pleaded the EU to cease deportations for three months as the country’s security forces battle the Taliban offensive before the full US withdrawal on August 31.
The Taliban has made huge advances in the north in recent weeks, sparking fears of a NEW wave of refugees fleeing the country.

🇺🇸⚡️🇹🇷 US Senators signed a joint letter demanding a suspension of the transfer of technology to Turkey for the production of drones.
Twenty-seven members of the US Congress have asked Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to suspend any permits for the export of American unmanned technology to Turkey. In the letter, the senators also suggested preparing a report on the Turkish UAV industry, examining possible violations of US sanctions.
“Over the past year, Turkish drones have been deployed by 🇦🇿 Azerbaijan against the 🇦🇲 Armenian civilian population in Artsakh,in 🇸🇾 Syria against Kurdish forces that have allied with the United States in the war against ISIS and in the civil war in 🇱🇾 Libya, ”the letter says.
