"They wanted to play a similar game in the Mediterranean. "After the delimitation of maritime zones in the TRNC, thanks to the agreement we made with Libya, we turned a large part of the eastern Mediterranean into a legal field of activity."
"the gas field that we discovered in the Black Sea helped to reward our efforts but also to raise the morale of our nation. "In the Eastern Mediterranean confrontation , those who could not take a step back in the Eastern Mediterranean indulged in hollow threats and blackmail and ridiculous displays of power , but eventually heeded our calls for dialogue."

Referring to the conclusions and reports that came after the insistence of Greece and Cyprus , the Turkish Foreign Minister said in a provocative tone : "If the EU wants to become an objective, global organization, it should be able to tell a member that, what he is asking for is unjust . Statement by the President of the Cultural Association of Iasmos
¨Mayor who NEVER agrees to meet the President of the largest Community and seat of the Municipality, indifferent to the issue he asks to meet.
The Mayor who has NEVER informed the President of the largest Community and seat of the Municipality about anything.
The Mayor who has degraded from the first moment the institution of the President of the largest Community and seat of the Municipality, for reasons of personal empathy only.
The Mayor who chose on the occasion of his personal passion for me to level the whole society of Iasmos by opening a war with one of the most important institutions of Culture in Thrace, the Cultural Association of Jasmos, with an impact mainly on young children, our children , from which it deprives the contact with cultural events, because that's just what Oder Mumin (mayor of Iasmos) wants.¨
Response of the Mayor
"After today's personal, immoral, unprovoked verbal attack directed to me, by Boukas (Elias Boukas) severed the relations of the municipal authority with the Cultural Association of Iasmos. I emphasize once again that I honor the history and every member of the Cultural Association of Iasmos. However, the time has come for Boukas to resign from the position of President of the Iasmos Cultural Association ".

Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece announced that the Church of Greece will organise 261 events across Greece next year to mark the 200th anniversary of the Greek War of Independence.
“Other peoples rebelled against their church. We, the Greeks, however, fought in 1821, together with our Orthodox Church, which nurtured us with the desire for liberation,” he said, adding that the land in Greece is drenched in the blood of freedom fighters and of the priesthood.

Illegal immigrants at the camp in Penally (UK) had an interview with BBC, repeating the same things that they do in Greece and all over Europe, that the camps are not suitable for them, that they are doctors, nurses and engineers. Said that they are not an army (despite most of them being men in military age)
“It’s not good for human here, we are not army. Most of them are doctor, most of them are nurse”
“This place is not suitable for us”
it is rather strange how their arguments are repeated across Europe as a mantra, without even changing the phrases too much, saying that the camps are inhuman, prisons. They say that thet are engineers and doctors... yet, most of them dont want to work even when the government tries providing them with job opportunities.

“I was hesitant to come here at the beginning because I had no idea about this country and I don’t speak the language. I knew there were skirmishes between the two countries, but I didn’t know that I was coming to war. I thought it was just guard work,” Khalid said.
“I came here to make money and have a better life back in Syria where the living conditions are miserable. I consider this a job, nothing else.”

Somali migrant who raped 9-year-old Swedish girl won't be deported
> Despite a 39-year-old Somali migrant being convicted for raping both a 9-year-old girl and another 12-year-old girl in the small Swedish town of Norrköping, he will not face deportation because he already became a Swedish citizen in 2015.
> The Somali migrant dragged the underage girl into a bush, forced her to take off her clothes at knife point, smeared her face and mouth with mud, and then raped her.
> In addition to the 11-year prison sentence, which in reality means just over seven years with Swedish rules on probation, Ahmed M. must pay €23,400 (240,000 kronas) in compensation for damage caused to the 9-year-old victim.
> Ahmed M. was recently released prematurely after serving a prison sentence for aggravated child sexual abuse. In 2017, he lured a twelve-year-old girl into a basement and threatened her life with a knife he put on her neck. He then forced her to take off her clothes in front of him and proceeded to rape her.
