The Turkish drillship Yavuz has left Cypriot EEZ and is apparently heading towards Turkey, although it is not known if it is changing region or going to Turkey. Some European States (most likely Germany) are saying that this is a positive step towards de-escalation.

👨🏽 In the no-go-zone of Rilleux-La-Pape, near Lyon, race riots broke out.

👨🏼‍🚒 The rioters set several cars on fire in order to trap firefighters, which they then violently attacked.

They also attempted to set fire to the Catholic church of Saint Pierre.

👨🏼‍⚖️ The Interior Minister announced the opening of an investigation. The entourage of the former mayor of Lyon blames left-wing politicians for having encourage these anti-christian attacks by their aggressive rhetoric.
