🗓 Some of you might have noticed Gallia Daily's post last saturday, which contained the subnoscriptd version of 'Sacrified Children'.

⚙️ I've been one of GD's staff members for quite a while now and am currently working on the second episode which should be released by next Saturday.

🗝 Since I don't want to see this channel inactive for too long either, I will share here a small extract which should already give you a taste of what will episode 2 contain.

🎙 Many people refuse to listen to these stories, because it is beyond their force to subject themselves to such horrors. So while I'm with you, let me give you a piece of advice: face the horror. Endure it. Get used to it.

🕯 Much darker times are upon us. The burden of truth is heavy, but ignorance will crush you. So stay strong, and remember that we are all in this together.

The Turkish government officially confirmed today that they have performed tests of the Russian S-400 systems
>https://archive.is/nv9ok

📰 Article
Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar confirmed today that Turkey had tested the Russian S-400 anti-missile system in the Sinop region, according to Sputnik.

According to the Turkish Defense Minister, Turkey is still open to the purchase of a US weapons system despite the fact that it bought the S-400 system from Russia.

"Turkey has worked with its allies on alternatives and will continue to do so. "We can not accept statements like 'we are ready to sell, but Congress does not allow deliveries,'"
[...]
It is noted that the news of the test of the S-400 system sparked widespread reactions in the US political world.

"The United States was clear in its expectations that the S-400s should not become operational. "We were also clear about the possible serious consequences for our security relationship if Turkey activates the system," a State Department spokesman said.

"Testing the Russian S-400 system is unacceptable behavior by an ally of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). "It further damages the alliance and poses a direct threat to F-35 fighter jets and the systems of other US and NATO allies," said the chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee

🚨 Article detailing how Turkey is one of Germany's biggest "customers" regarding weapons exports despite the German Government saying that the exports to Turkey are "very low"

📰 Article
[...]
🔴 There was a significant increase in 2019 compared to 2018 (12.9 million euros). The Germans use as an excuse that the exports of parts and weapons for the submarines were pre-approved in 2009 and there is a guarantee of the German state Hermes of 2.4 billion euros.
[...]
🔴 Turkey bought German weapons systems worth 243 million euros in 2018 , while the total amount of German arms exports that year amounted to 771 million euros. In 2019, Germany exported weapons systems with a total value of 832 million euros. Of that, 345m euros were for exports to Turkey

🔴 In 2020, arms exports of 22.8m euros to Turkey were approved. It should be noted that Turkish exports to Germany are also significant, reaching a total of $ 18 billion

🇹🇷 Turkish Foreign Minister: "There is no real cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean without the Turkish Cypriots", alluding to the idea that Turkey wants Cyprus to share its revenues from Gas Exploration with "northern Cyprus"

📰 Article
[...]
🔹Turkish FM:
"Real cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean can only be achieved with the involvement of all the riparian countries, including the Turkish Cypriots. Until the countries that create the problems in the region (talking about mostly about Greece but also about France and Cyprus) change their maximalist approach, there can not be the solution to the problems that they create. We will continue resolutely to protect both our rights and the rights of Turkish Cypriots in the eastern Mediterranean"

🇹🇷 Turkish Defense Minister: "Turkey wants to discuss the problems in the regions and solve them, but, it is futile for third party countries to impose rules and expect Turkey to accept them"

📰 Article
[...]
🔹Turkish DM:
🔹"We want to discuss the issues that exist in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Aegean and find solutions to these problems with our neighbors, within the framework of the rules" he then added "however, that it is futile for third parties to try to establish certain rules and wait for them to be accepted by Turkey "

🔹"We are in favor of dialogue and a policy to resolve problems, but we will not allow our rights to be violated, we will not allow them to be done. "We want peace and stability in the region," he said.

🔹Regarding the Cyprus issue, he said that "the Cyprus issue is our national affair. "If the other side wants to resolve the issue through political means, then it must accept the existence of our Turkish Cypriot brothers, following the common sense and not its own plans

—————————————————————————
It is common for Turkey to claim that they are fighting for the rights of Turkish Cypriots as their government plays the victim card to justify everything, from saying that is is unfair that the Greek islands close to the Turkish coast belong to Greece and not Turkey all the way to violating Cypriot and Greek EEZ waters because Turkey does not recognizes the UNCLOS in the East Med despite applying UNCLOS parameters to define their maritime borders in the black sea and not doing so in the East Med because it would validate that both the Greek and Cypriot EEZs are correct.

Turkey violates international law by doing so, but at the same time they claim that Greece is violating their rights by not letting them explore the East Med because Greece recognizes the UNCLOS which also gives Islands their own EEZ, which Turkey denies and believes Islands should not have EEZs at all

It is estimated that the Saudi Boycott of Turkish products will cost Turkey 20 Billion Dollars

🔴 Article about the new Lesvos project to dispose of the "refugee waste" that has been accumulating in the shores of the island since 2015, amounting to a total of 16 000 cubic meters of waste left behind by the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants who entered Greece using boats
>https://archive.is/YQZDn

📰 Article
[...]
🔹The approved budget of the project amounts to 210,873 euros and its estimated implementation time is 40 days from the signing of the contract.

🔹It is noted that the project essentially concerns the five-year deadlock of "refugee waste" and in particular the amount of life jackets (16,000 cubic meters) that had accumulated on the shores since 2015.

🔹[...] the plastic of the life jackets that had accumulated was neither considered recyclable material, nor could it be destroyed because it had a high content of PVC which makes it unfit for incineration. The volume of waste is in addition to lifebuoys, blankets and debris of vessels

🚨IMPORTANT🚨

Turkey announced that after the Oruc Reis conducts its seismic surveys between Kastelorizo and Rhodes, they will issue NAVTEX for seismic surveys south of Crete
>https://archive.is/hqS52

—————————————————————
While it is likely that Turkey will conduct such surveys without the EU doing something such as imposing sanctions, the threats to conduct such surveys south of Crete are not exactly new and they might spark a strong reaction from Greece once Crete is not anywhere near the Turkish coast as the Turks often try to argue that islands too close to their coast should belong to them.

This stems from the fact that Turkey does not recognizes the UNCLOS officially due to the fact that UNCLOS agrees with the fact that Islands have an EEZ, while for Turkey, officially recognizing that islands have EEZ would put them in contradiction with their actions since they conduct such seismic surveys insice Greek and Cypriot EEZ waters. Turkey does apply UNCLOS parameters to delimitate their maritime borders in the black sea without formally recognizing the UNCLOS
