Which is not true because according to the 1923 Lausanne treaty, Article 13:
"The Greek military forces in the said islands will be limited to
the normal contingent called up for military service, which can be
trained on the spot, as well as to a force of gendarmerie and police
in proportion to the force of gendarmerie and police existing in the
whole of the Greek territory"

An article that imposes a limit and prohibits certain fortifications but it does not states that the island must be 100% demilitarized

A thing to have in consideration is that the same article prohibits Greece from flying military airplanes over the Turkish coast and Anatolia, while also prohibiting Turkey from flying over or performing overflights above Greek islands, which Turkey does on a regular basis, thus violating the treaty

In regards to the argument made by Turkey regarding the Paris Peace Treaty that addresses the Dodecanese Islands and their demilitarization, Turkey is not a signatory state, therefore the legal doctrine Res Inter Alios Acta, Aliis Nec Nocet Nec Prodest (Latin for "a thing done between others does not harm or benefit others"), dictates that a contract cannot affect the rights of one who is not a party to the contract and thus Turkey has no right to claim that something is being violated or demand that the treaty is being violated
