Concerns about Bolton appear unfounded. Pockets of infection will continue to be seen, as with all endemic viruses. Overall, COVID-19 is at low levels with cases and deaths at summer lows and total deaths well below normal.

India turning a corner and concerns about Bolton appear unfounded
"You can imagine how alarmed I was this week when Dr Ros Jones, a veteran consultant paediatrician, told me she believes that students in secondary school could be jabbed as early as the end of the summer term..."

Why children and Covid-19 is an ethical minefield
I am about to have my second AstraZeneca jab, but is it sensible to extend the vaccine rollout before we know more?
With numbers of patients in Bolton as small as they are, people will likely know who these individuals are. Matt Hancock has completely ignored the NHS's own guidance on protecting patient confidentiality.

The fact that masks do not reduce the spread of SARS-CoV-2 might seem counterintuitive but the evidence is clear. It is reasonable to demand that all mask mandates be lifted on 21 June at the latest.

Petition: End all requirements to wear face coverings immediately
The Government should remove all mandates for face coverings in all public places, and advise all public authorities and businesses that this measure is no longer necessary.
It is not entirely clear who — apart from those selling test kits — stands to gain from the mass testing for ‘cases’ of an endemic virus in a healthy population...
