Thoughts about relationships between people in toxic crypto space.

Just translate speech this dude from Dagestan city, Chechnya country:

"Who is real friend and fake?
When you are far away (or another private chat) real friend protects your name if someone says something bad about you.

And some fake friends communicate with you, sit at the same table and eat food with you (chattind in dm)
and then they go to another community and someone say something bad about you, but your "friend" is silent, and some even agree and even spread bad rumours and fake facts."

When i call somebody "mate" or "friend", i not speak bad about this friend, and help when he need and don't gossip behind him back like do some my ex crypto "friends".
How you can call this type of friends? Just weak soul person without own opinion
who bends under someone else's opinion trying to please or just a traitor?
is it worth forgiving this dude or not? What you will do at this situation?
