"An unvaccinated driving instructor won a payout after his employer discriminated against his “sincerely held beliefs” about not taking medicine".
"Aaron Green successfully sued the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) for £6,336 after it refused him overtime because he had not been vaccinated twice against Covid".
"A tribunal heard that Jens Gavermark, Mr Green’s manager, rejected his request to work overtime in October 2021, claiming that the policy was “paused”.
"But after a colleague had a similar request approved the same day, Mr Green was told he could not work extra hours until a risk assessment had been carried out as he had not been double jabbed".
We said this would happen. Bring on the lawsuits but to be fair what is uber annoying and people DO NOT put two and two together on, is that if the employer discriminated because they were following the Government's "rules" then it's fecking obvious the Government discriminated too by making those rules and therefore acted unlawfully. Yet nothing is done about that fact!

What's the difference between CCTV cameras in supermarkets vs facial recognition cameras. Do you know? And is there an issue?
CCTV is video surveillance technology in which many cameras are used and are connected in parallel to several monitoring systems. It is generally a recording system that can preserve data and such systems are used in public places like airports, roads, public transport, town centers and supermarkets to monitor and detect security incidents and provide and preserve a feed of what may have happened during an incident.
Facial Recognition Technology is different because facial recognition is aimed at identifying or confirming a person’s identity BEFORE any incident occurs, by comparing different images against each other or to its own repository, rather than just being a tool to provide video evidence of an incident that has happened.
Facial recognition technology systems are quick and do not require any direct interaction with a person, say on a door, checking faces of people. This is because an algorithm learns a face, and the cameras find and detect it. Some analysis is done by the system and the data is converted into a faceprint and the system, NOT a human, confirms the identity of the person in the face print.
The issue with this is the use of a machine to make matches of faces, along with how your digital data is handled, for instance by a supermarket. How and why it is used and whether you have consented to the same. Frankly alot of time it is not used for security at all and is in fact used for advertising and marketing purposes. But you can see how it could also be used for nefarious reasons, to block entry if your face is on a list.
Further, for in-store payments, the facial recognition payment mechanism has now gained popularity. When making payments in a store, consumers scan their faces standing in front of point-of-sale devices equipped with cameras. Horrific!
Do we really want to move from having closed circuit cameras purely for security to this sort of system? Who is going to police it to make sure it is not used inappropriately? How can we be sure it is accurate? And most importantly did we consent to our faces and biometric data being taken and used in this way?
So the next time someone says to you that supermarkets have always had cameras so what is your problem, your answer should be "yes they have, but not facial recognition". The latter is very different and is a slippery slope in our opinion.
Here is an article from some months ago highlighting the issues. Personally we are just staying away from institutions that insist on using this kind of facial scanning software. And we do not believe it is just Hikivision that is the problem.

Taken From Heart Prints; The Connection Between Mother & Baby Is Eternal
A baby will heal their mother. A mother will heal their baby
For 41 weeks, the cells circulate and merge backwards and forwards, and after the baby is born, many of these cells stay in the mother’s body, leaving a permanent imprint in the mothers tissues, bones, brain, and skin, and often stay there for decades.
If a mother's heart is injured, fetal cells will rush to the site of the injury and change into different types of cells that specialize in mending the heart.
The baby helps repair the mother, while the mother builds the baby.
It’s incredible how mothers’ bodies protect the baby at all costs, and the baby protects & rebuilds the mother back - so that the baby can develop safely and survive.
This is called Fetal Maternal Microchimerism which we know is the universal connection of 2 souls who can physically heal one another through the energy of love

How to Cope During Times of Distress
The purpose of this short guide is to help anyone who is feeling overwhelmed, in distress, or struggling to cope. Our aim is to show those struggling that there are many people who care, even when it doesn’t feel like it.
There may be times when you feel alone and on your own in a dark and unfamiliar or scary place. Remember you are not. We are here—many of us—and our goal is to provide a sense of hope that things will get better, one day at a time.
It is OK to feel this way.
Acknowledge your feelings. It’s ok to feel. Sometimes when we are in distress, we feel that we should just snap out of it, deal with it, and not feel it, but we are here to say IT IS OK TO FEEL THIS WAY.
These feelings are not uncommon. They are normal human emotions, and they need to be acknowledged.
For many people, there will be periods within their lives where they feel unable to cope for many different reasons. When feeling down, there will be a myriad of different feelings and thoughts that one might experience and they may feel overwhelming and difficult to manage but REMEMBER: It is OK to feel this way!

'UK birth slump dubbed ‘good for planet’ as number of babies born hits 20-year low'
"Birth rate slump in West will address overconsumption, former government adviser says:
Professor Sarah Harper CBE, founder and director of the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing and a former government adviser, said falling birth rates in the West were “good for… our planet”.
Her comments came after official figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed there were 605,479 live births in England and Wales last year, the lowest number since 2002.
The total was down 3.1pc compared to 2021..
Prof Harper told the Telegraph: “I think it’s a good thing that the high-income, high-consuming countries of the world are reducing the number of children that they’re having. I’m quite positive about that.”
The academic said declining fertility in rich countries would help to address the “general overconsumption that we have at the moment”, which has a negative impact on the planet.
Prof Harper served on the Prime Minister’s Council for Science and Technology between 2014 and 2017. She was awarded a CBE for services to demography in 2018.
She said: “We will see smaller populations in high-income countries going forward. It’s just going to be a trend of the 21st century and that will actually be good for general overall overconsumption that we have at the moment and our planet.”
Research has found that wealthy nations tend to have much larger carbon footprints than poorer countries, as rich people can afford to buy more goods, travel more and do other activities that generate emissions.
Carbon emissions from high-income countries were 29 times larger than low-income countries on a per capita basis in 2020, World Bank figures show.
While slowing population growth may reduce carbon emissions, analysts have warned that it also poses significant challenges for economic growth.
A shrinking workforce puts pressure on younger generations to pay more tax for the healthcare of older people. It can also lead to worker shortages that can slow growth."
