腾讯与政府合作用微信取代香港旅行证件
腾讯表示，该公司正在与中国有关部门合作，用微信取代往返香港与内地之间所使用的旅行证件。腾讯在边检站演示微信“扫一扫出入境”的流程，微信这个手机应用的功能或将变得更为强大，最终让中国公民不必再携带旅行证件。腾讯表示，正在与中国有关部门进行合作，计划面向大陆和香港居民推出一套基于生物特征辨识数据的电子卡系统，将他们的身份文件与微信应用联系起来，只需简单条码和面部识别便可轻松通关。腾讯在声明中表示，这套系统采用了公安部批准的数字身份识别解决方案的最新技术，采用的加密算法可以防止任何信息泄露。Media
