I've always been fascinated by nuclear physics, and seeing Oppenheimer really sparked my interest. I've been reading up on the subject, and even though the math is a bit beyond me right now, I've found some of the concepts fascinating. The power contained…
My takeaway

Think of the sun. It's a giant ball of fire, powered by smashing tiny particles together – that's nuclear fusion. Nuclear weapons are a bit like making a tiny, incredibly destructive sun on Earth. Instead of fusion, they use fission, which is like splitting those tiny particles apart.

Nuclear physics is all about studying the heart of atoms – those tiny building blocks of everything. It's like taking apart a super-tiny Lego castle to see what it's made of. These particles have incredible energy stored inside them, like coiled springs. Nuclear weapons unleash that energy in a gigantic, explosive way.

Think of it like this: you have a giant pile of perfectly stacked dominoes. If you nudge one, they all fall down. In a nuclear reaction, hitting one tiny particle is like that nudge; it sets off a chain reaction, causing a massive release of energy. That's the explosion you see in a nuclear weapon. It's incredibly powerful because the energy released from splitting these tiny particles is vastly greater than from burning wood or even exploding dynamite.

The scary part is that even a small amount of material, if handled incorrectly, can cause enormous destruction. That's why these weapons are so dangerous. The power contained within these weapons – the power of the sun, contained in a small bomb – is both awe-inspiring and terrifying. It's a demonstration of incredible human ingenuity and an equally frightening reminder of the immense destructive potential we possess.

Sometimes, when you face a problem you have no control over, the only thing you can do about it is being sad, numb and cold. And it hurts.

I often find myself studying for hours, only to question the relevance of what I'm learning. Why invest so much time in concepts seemingly unconnected to my future? This isn't an anti-education stance; it's a critique of the current system. I deeply value knowledge, but I yearn for learning that's directly meaningful and applicable to my life, rather than the often irrelevant material we're expected to absorb.
Took geography test today, wasnt too bad but I wonder whether or not that matters. 0 or 10, i dont give a damn shit.

Something I've been wondering lately is why do we actually say that university is a scam or is it the people who are teaching in that university who have issues.
Its the infrastracture, most teachers (though not all), the environment and the perception we all have for education that makes university a scam.
One way or the other its a scam whatsoever.

you cant really compare american and Ethiopian teachers , our teachers most of them have learnt their profession just for the sake of feeding their family or making money themselves , teachers abroad are actually people who are passionate about that field and have experience in it so its quite different . you cant expect a European or American level of teaching when you're in a country where teachers cant even eat 3 times a day and skip meals so that they can afford a taxi back home.
