Xiaomi discovers reason behind slow-responding home screen
Affected Devices and Firmware Versions
Root Cause
Xiaomi explained that the slow-responding home screen is a result of some third-party apps maliciously altering the layering of the desktop, which conflicts with system processes and eventually results in slow performance when interacting with the home screen.
For the meantime, this is considered resolved if the suggested solutions were followed. Xiaomi advises people who have been experiencing this problem to implement the suggested steps before calling customer support.

The problem was observed on the following devices with given software versions:

Root Cause
Xiaomi explained that the slow-responding home screen is a result of some third-party apps maliciously altering the layering of the desktop, which conflicts with system processes and eventually results in slow performance when interacting with the home screen.

Xiaomi to fix random reboot issue in next update for 5 devices
Issue Details :
The random reboot issue simply causes the affected devices to restart at any time without intervention from the owner; hence, it disrupts usability and might lead to data loss or application crashes. Xiaomi acknowledged the problem after lots of complaints from users and has been working on a resolution.
Resolution Timeline :
According to the bug report by Xiaomi, the issue will be fixed with the next software update that will be rolled out incrementally in the coming weeks.
