He reached the service centre, but still the phone is at Service Centre with no response from @SamsungIndia.

⚠️ Which Xiaomi smartphones and tablets can no longer be unlocked?

As of August 2025, Xiaomi has officially discontinued bootloader unlocking for a significant number of its older smartphones and tablets. This shift follows the company’s new policy, implemented after August 5, 2025, and the decommissioning of legacy unlocking servers. Here’s what’s affected

Xiaomi Devices No Longer Unlockable
Phones:

- Mi Mix (Original model)

- All models with Snapdragon 600 series or older chipsets

- Max series (Mi Max, Mi Max 2, Mi Max 3)

- Pre-Redmi Note smartphones

- Redmi 6 series and earlier (Redmi 6, 5, 4, etc.)

Tablets:

Xiaomi tablets up to the 4th generation (i.e., Mi Pad 4 and earlier)

General Rule:

Any Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO device that never officially received HyperOS support is now locked permanently—bootloader unlocking is no longer available for these.
