⚠️DEVELOPING: A Flood Watch has been issued for the majority of Southern California excluding San Diego County from 4:00 PM Tuesday through 10:00 PM Wednesday.
A powerful winter storm is forecast to arrive Tuesday night through Christmas Day bringing possibly heavy rain and higher snow levels. A few thunderstorms are also possible.
Total rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches are likely in all areas with localized amounts of 4-8+ inches possible, especially on the lower coastal slopes. Rainfall rates may also approach 1 in per hour in some locations.
Be prepared for the potential of flooding and flash flooding as well as rock, mud, and debris flows, especially below recent burn scars, and heed all evacuation orders.
The snow level should remain above 8,000 feet through most of this storm, lowering later on Christmas day and Friday. If traveling into the mountains be ready for winter weather driving and always carry chains!

WATCH: Gavin Newsom with heavily armed security walking the disgusting streets of San Francisco asking to take pictures with people. It sounds like a mental institution or prison cell block in the background with a the screaming.

⚠️Extremely concerning rain totals are forecast for Southern California, and a Flood Watch has been issued for the entire region.
Los Angeles is forecast to see 7.5 inches of rain in just five days, which would push the city to over 90% of its average annual rainfall before New Year’s.
There is already a Level 4 out of 5 “Moderate Risk” for flash flooding, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see this upgraded to a High Risk. Severe, widespread flooding will be possible, even in areas that typically don’t experience flooding.
Burn scars will be a major concern. The Eaton Fire burn scar may see 10–15 inches of rain, which could trigger significant flooding and dangerous debris flows.
This is a dangerous storm, start taking necessary precautions now.
