Just a reminder...The election board, which the clerk is the Ex Officio elected member, has the authority to go back to paper ballots.

IC 3-11-11-1.1 Paper ballot use by county election board

Sec. 1.1. A county election board may use paper ballots:

(1) in any election;

(2) in all or in some of the precincts within a political subdivision holding an election; and

(3) instead of or in combination with any other voting method.

I know that you are all too smart to ever share your data with apps or texts like this, but alert your friends and family. NGOs are gearing up.

Is there no end to these damn NGOs who are putting themselves between citizens and our elections? Turbovote will allow you sign up on their website and prefill out all of your voter registration forms, absentee ballot forms and then send you updates on upcoming elections. I am sure the “updates” will be non-bias and 100% transparent. I am sure they won’t steer you in any direction, particularly if you are a young person.

Turbovote is part of DemocracyWorks who was given the platform by the Pew Charitable Trust/Google partnership who spun it up during the tenure of David Becker who was running the Voter Information Project (VIP) for Pew. David later went on to found ERIC and now runs the Center for Election Innovation and Research. He draws a salary of $205,000.

These NGOs need to get out of our elections. The Rockefellers, Salesforce and Pritzker's (among others) fund DemocracyWorks.

#TakeThePledge. Vote day of. Look at the push for your vote during '30 days of election season' and mail-ins. Why are they pushing so hard and mailing out absentee applications like candy? The More You Know.

“There are two kinds of people in this world…people who ‘do’ and people who watch other people do!”

Why is it that in life 20% of people do 80% of the work, whether it is in your church volunteering, coaching, scouting, food pantries, helping others? “You either are doing or you are watching other people do.” All in this group are working FOR FREE everyday to right injustices perpetrated on our country. Would we like to be watching TV, napping, resting, gardening, or going back to how our life was before July of 2021? Absolutely, but we don’t and we can’t because of the grit, determination, and character of how God made us – to pass on justice for our kids and grandkids. We do this every single day by writing articles, making phone calls, canvassing, crunching numbers, FOIA’ing elected officials, assisting community members, and pushing ourselves…we are doers.

Others will come up with every single excuse of why they cannot give 2 hours, 4 hours or more a week. They are ‘sick’, or they are ‘too busy’, or ‘too tired.’ These people are ‘watchers.’ They watch other people do. Most of these people have good intentions, they do want our country fixed and to see things get better, but ‘nah, someone else will fix that or something always comes up’. Time ticks away, weeks and months go by and they are still watching others. Most of you just need to start ‘doing.’ Get out of the routine of ‘checking into this general chat’, griping and complaining about the shiny object or diversion of the day, and STAND, RAISE YOUR HAND, DIG, WRITE, call 10 people, and just start with doing the ONE call to action a week…..something. Once you do this, the rest will follow. Don’t go through life being a watcher, be a doer.

So let me ask you…. Why did you click the join button? Why did you come looking for us? When you see the results of the work, why are you not engaging or saying, “Count me In Momma. I want to be on the winning side of this battle of good vs. evil”.

Have you given up? Why are you still in the bleachers just watching us? We are moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, proving this one day at a time and NONE of us are paid. Why are you not joining us? Many hands make light work.

A person of good character does the right thing because they believe it is the right thing to do, even when no one is looking. Will you stand today?

Folks, this is an email response from State Senator Greg Walker, telling a constituent that her concerns are not worth his consideration. This is after he refused to even discuss the valid points she brought up that were cited in Margaret Menge’s article along with the video evidence of Representative Tim Wesco providing incorrect testimony to the State Senate to get bill 1116 passed. He even dismissed Margaret Menge’s credibility using an ad hominem attack.

This is what we are dealing with. The rest of this email is full of the typical mantras such as “you don’t understand how this actually works” and “preposterous claims”.

Honestly this is just sad. This is what we have allowed to happen over the years. Time to take it back. Walker is running unopposed in his primary this year. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen to our “betters” again.
