In un aggiornamento dello schema API sono stati menzionati gli sticker video.
Probabilmente, gli utenti saranno in grado di creare sticker da normali video. Possiamo presupporre che verrà utilizzato un formato video con supporto alla trasparenza. Uno dei formati più popolari è WebM.
Attualmente tutti gli sticker animati sono vettoriali. Per creare i tuoi sticker animati per Telegram, hai bisogno delle competenze di Adobe After Effects. Gli sticker video renderanno più facile creare sticker animati, consentiranno di utilizzare video della fotocamera o, ad esempio, animazioni 3D.

Telegram 8.5: Adesivi video, reazioni migliori e altro ancora
In molti si aspettavano che la prima versione del 2022 di Telegram portasse con se novità molto interessanti. Diciamo che non sarà così, ma le novità che ci saranno e che sono state anticipate (visitate il gruppo @InsideTelegramLab) rendono comunque questo primo rilascio abbastanza interessante.
Questo aggiornamento offre adesivi video più facili da realizzare, reazioni ai messaggi migliorate, con animazioni compatte ed emoji extra, un pulsante per rivedere le reazioni invisibili, una migliore navigazione tra le chat e altro ancora.
Per il momento la versione stabile non è stata ancora rilasciata, ma è molto probabile che nelle prossime ore (giorni) gli utenti che hanno scaricato Telegram in modo diretto sul proprio Android e gli utenti iOS possano già assaporare questo nuovo aggiornamento.

This round required designers to take on a different platform, and they delivered – bringing modern and fresh concepts to transform @unigram for Windows 11.

Messages on WhatsApp were left open to potential attackers for years, as detailed in recent leaks about Boldend – a US cyber-warfare startup (more here).
Since the creation of WhatsApp, there's hardly been a moment in which it was secure: every few months researchers uncover a new security issue in the app. I wrote about this in detail 2 years ago (read here if you missed it). Nothing has changed since then.
It would be hard to believe that the technical team of WhatsApp is so consistently incompetent. Telegram, a far more sophisticated app, has never had security issues of such severity.
Since the creation of WhatsApp, there's hardly been a moment in which it was secure: every few months researchers uncover a new security issue in the app. I wrote about this in detail 2 years ago (read here if you missed it). Nothing has changed since then.
It would be hard to believe that the technical team of WhatsApp is so consistently incompetent. Telegram, a far more sophisticated app, has never had security issues of such severity.

Il 10 febbraio si è svolto un secondo incontro tra il governo e i rappresentanti dell'azienda, come riporta il quotidiano Süddeutsche Zeitung.
I canali Telegram del cospirazionista Attila Hildmann non sono più disponibili in Germania da martedì. Hildmann aveva diffuso miti su una cospirazione contro il coronavirus e incitando all'odio in un canale con 100.000 iscritti su Telegram. Da febbraio 2021, un uomo di 40 anni è stato inserito nella lista dei ricercati in Germania e si sarebbe nascosto in Turchia.

Durov's Code ha scoperto che uno dei personaggi principali dell'articolo di Wired non ha mai lavorato per Telegram, ma era un volontario.
Elies Campo non ha mai lavorato per Telegram, figuriamoci dirigere nulla.

RTMP Live Broadcasts in Telegram
A mention of RTMP Live Broadcasts appeared in Telegram API schema.
This will let streamers broadcast not just using the Telegram app, but also using third party software, e.g. OBS Studio. Such software allows composite video and audio from different sources, automating the broadcast, displaying chat and donations. RTMP is a common standard and is supported by other live broadcasting platforms like YouTube and Twitch.
Currently to make a live broadcast backed by third party software you need to use libraries, or you can use OBS by its emulated camera feature passed through Telegram Desktop or Telegram for macOS.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed — together we were able to gather millions of ratings across 33,792 reaction videos in just a few weeks.
We've identified more than 8,000 high-quality reaction videos that will now be further evaluated in Phase 2.
Phase 2: Relevance
@ContestRatingBot will let you rate the relevance of the first 920 reaction videos. If you successfully complete this task before 23:59 Dubai time on February 21, we may invite you to process more reaction videos for monetary compensation.
We collected some examples in this channel. Please study them and the judging criteria carefully before you begin sorting.
What happens then?
Success in this task will depend on how close your ratings are to the verdicts carried out by Telegram Judges. Those with the best results will be invited to participate in a paid task to process more reaction videos.
