Un'estate italiana

An Italian Summer
magic nights
following a goal
under the sky
of an Italian summer
And in your eyes
the desire to win
a summer
one more adventure
That dreams that starts when you're [just] a kid
and that takes you always further
it's not a fairytale
it comes from the locker rooms
the guys come out and it's us

The best moments usually occur when a person’s body or mind is stretched to its limits in a voluntary effort to accomplish something difficult and worthwhile.
Optimal experience is thus something that we make happen.”

There’s A Specific Kind Of Joy We’ve Been Missing
We find our greatest bliss in moments of collective effervescence ( the sense of energy and harmony people feel when they come together in a group around a shared purpose. )
Collective effervescence is the synchrony you feel when you slide into rhythm with strangers on a dance floor, colleagues in a brainstorming session, cousins at a religious service or teammates on a soccer field. And during this pandemic, it’s been largely absent from our lives.

Facial resemblance enhances trust
Subjects were shown faces of ostensible playing partners manipulated to resemble either themselves or an unknown person. Resem- blance to the subject’s own face raised the incidence of trusting a partner, but had no effect on the incidence of selfish betrayals of the partner’s trust. Control subjects playing with identical pictures failed to show such an effect. In a second experiment, resemblance of the playing partner to a familiar (famous) person had no effect on either trusting or betrayals of trust.
