The great Italian film composer Ennio Morricone first came on the scene with soundracks for Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns, including A Fistful of Dollars and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Though his career has been primarily in Italian films, he has also composed distinctive, sophisticated scores for such American films as Once Upon a Time in America, Bugsy, Mission, In the Line of Fire and The Untouchables. This collection of 44 pieces from 17 movies is a great introduction to Morricone's work, or a rare serving of some of the greatest movie music for the film buff.
