Churches aren't buildings.
Buildings are empty. Churches are portals.
Churches go beyond the physical structure.
The shapes, space, relationships of geometry, symmetry in the music that comes from the lungs of the building, all point toward the same direction.
No.
These are entities built over centuries.
Living breathing.
No buildings.May this Triduum be a time of deep reflection and renewal for all of us.
As we journey through these three sacred days, let us remember the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for us and be reminded of the immense love that God has for each and every one of us.
Wishing you all a blessed and Holy Triduum.

Most Recent Research Appears to Confirm the Shroud of Turin is the Burial Cloth of Jesus
I feel incredibly fortunate to have stood before the Shroud of Turin (Sindone di Torino) during its public exhibitions in 2010 and 2015. It was an incredibly powerful experience and the most impactful object I have ever seen.
If you want to learn more, about this relic I highly recommend reading Ian Wilson's book, 'The Shroud: The 2000-Year-Old Mystery Solved'.
Unfortunately I couldn't find a downloadable version, but the paper book is amazing.

Nature is a book, a letter, a fairy tale (for those who know how to read it), a picture, and a harmonious whole.
- Novalis。 。
。
None in foliage, none in blossom
None in fruit thy peer may be
Through a tree we were enslaved
and through a tree we are set
In its shade, as in a breeze, I luxuriate and am cared for.
Its shade I take for my resting place; in my flight from heat it is a source of refreshing dew
This tree, the plant of immortality,
rears from earth to reach as high as Heaven
〜Paschal Homily 51, Pseudo-Hippolytus
